Software Engineer, BBD

I studied physics and computer science at UCT. Now a software engineer at BBD. I've published a paper in SAICSIT and built software for a detector of the ALICE project on the CERN large hadron collider. Now working to understand and apply Agentic Development all over the place (where it's actually applicable).

Matric Calculus = Quantum Mechanics = Agentic Development

I walk a listener through how simple concepts of matric calculus build up to form the Wave function of quantum mechanics which has fundamental concepts applicable to becoming a great Agentic developer. There are practical applications that the listener would take away about building agentic workflows in the form of plugins, thinking how they architect software to optimise for an agent development process. The calculus and quantum mechanics part of the talk is there to introduce some of the simpler concepts of "a solution space" "optimisation problems" in an interesting way
