Bad code is a daily companion to anyone in the software industry, and depending on the circumstances we approach it differently.In some cases, bad code is treated like a troublesome relative at a family gathering - something we begrudgingly accept despite how problematic it can be.Sometimes it is treated like a virus, something to be purged with extreme prejudice.In my favourite circumstances it is something of a wonder - a piece of code written with equal parts creativity and madness, something to be admired from afar that makes one question the sanity of the author.
